What to Expect from a Warranty Company
Due to the vast differences between after market warranty companies, Honest Wrenches would like you to be aware of the following:
1. Honest Wrenches is NOT governed by any after-market warranty company. After- market warranty companies will not cover full shop labor or parts pricing based on your specific contract limits. When this occurs, the client will be responsible for any amounts that are not covered by the after-market warranty company.
2. Many after-market warranty companies will NOT pay for testing fees, tear down, shop supplies, or environmental fees. These become the responsibility of the client.
3. After-market warranty companies may have the option per your policy to supply used parts or non-OEM (original equipment manufacturer) quality parts to repair your vehicle and then require the installer to assume liability. This is against our shop’s insurance guidelines and it’s highly suggested that you do not allow them to put less quality parts on your vehicle than what was on it from the factory. If this is the case, the client will be responsible for any amounts that are not covered by the after-market warranty company.
