Josh and Travis have been phenomenal! I've been to many auto repair centers in Ankeny, Urbandale and Waukee over the last decade, but when I found Honest Wrenches, I haven't been anywhere since. Over the last few years they have demonstrated the utmost business practice, even making recommendations that may mean less profit for them. In doing so, they have developed another client for life. This past summer (2014), my mom, who I referred to Honest Wrenches because of their service, was driving their rental car while her car got serviced. Another car hit her while she was stopped, and they arrived on the scene immediately, and continue to check on her well-being, even though she was alright but their car had some damage. They have treated me like a friend more than a client, and you will not find a better couple of Auto Repair Owners in the Metro!

Honest Wrenches is the most open, and uh ... honest ... auto mechanic shop I've ever seen, and that's why I keep going back. When they say something is wrong, they *show* the part to you and explain why what you are seeing is a problem. If a customer didn't trust them, that person could Google it and instantly know, and thus these guys show the utmost respect to their customers by giving them the means to keep the mechanics honest. But of course, that's the whole point of the shop, doing good work.

The customer service was fantastic as well as their service. Informed me of an issue with my vehicle and let me make the choice as to whether or not to go ahead and get it taken care of. No pressure, no frills, honest work.

I got a free oil change, transmission fluid flush, power steering fluid flush! Because of the willingness of saving me the trouble of having my car break down during christmas when i couldnt afford those services at the time i went. I will definitely come back here again when the need arises and i have told a few friends about honest wrenches

Courteous, professional, and efficient. They did an inspection and offered suggestions and professional advice on car maintenance without being pushy. I would definitely recommend them.

Travis went above and beyond to help me when wire got stuck in my tire, not only did he fix my tire he came and picked us up so we didn't have to wait in a storm for the tow truck driver. He then took us to Starbucks to wait until my vehicle was fixed. As if that wasn't enough he came back and picked us up took us to his shop offered us drinks for the drive home and gave us directions. Amazing right well there is even more. I just got a call from Travis checking to make sure I made it home without any trouble!!!! What an amazing person. Thanks Travis for making my situation much easier to handle. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!

The friendly mechanics here are people that you can definitely trust, unlike firestone, etc. Good service, a positive environment, ease of creating a relationship, all make honest wrenches a top choice to permanently stay at in my opinion.
