Josh is a good kid, had to educate a little but a good kid. I like that they dont push everything to be done right away. I watched him interact with other customers, i was very pleased with how they treat there customers. It was like the customer was a family member and was looking out for them and there best interest.

I brought my car to Honest Wrenches after I hit some road debris and the underbelly shield on my car was damaged. It was a fairly minor issue, but the guys took my concerns seriously and I could tell they truly wanted to help get my car back to normal. That particular part for my vehicle was rather expensive; instead of pushing an expensive part, they suggested that they repair the shield instead of replacing it. I had a few concerns about that process, but they answered all of my questions and when I got the car back I couldn't even tell that the part was ever damaged. I was really impressed and relieved. They have great service and I was surprised and grateful to receive a loaner vehicle. The diagnostic includes pictures and recommendations which are super helpful. Josh was my service adviser and is a great communicator. I appreciated his knowledge and advice for my car and maintenance. Everyone else I talked to there along the way was awesome and enthusiastic. I'm really glad I found somewhere I can trust to take my vehicle. Thanks guys!

Flew from Alaska to buy a truck in ames. brought the truck to them for a prebuy inspection and they went way over the top and have given me the best auto shop experience I've had I would give more then 5 stars If i could only place to go to in iowa

I initially tried these guys for a repair after someone I knew had work done and used one of their loaner cars. I’ll be returning due to the excellent customer services and ethical business practices. Super professional guys, prompt service with great communication. When I had a dash message come on the day after the repair, they picked my car back up, dropped me back off my loaner car at my location, corrected the computer codes, and returned my fixed car. And then brought me back my kid’s car seat I had forgotten to switch back out of the loaner. All before noon. So yea I’ll be back. Thanks guys!

Can't say enough good. We are full time RVer and just passing thru. Ford diesel lost power and we limped into Des Moines. Ford dealers were 2-3 weeks out before they could even look at it. Found Honest Wrenches on the web and looked good. Dropped my truck Friday afternoon and picked it up Tuesday. Excellent service and a loaner car to boot. I'm going to try to time our travels so I come thru here for future scheduled maintenance.
