I was recommended to Honest Wrenches to get my headlight fixed. I called them and the next day they picked up my car for me, traced the problem and fixed it, gave me a detailed inspection list and offered to complete any other services for me, and had my car back to my house in 7 hours. Throughout this time they gave me multiple updates, provided a pay link, and were very kind and pleasant. This was by far my best experience with an automotive shop. Overall, I was very displeased with Honest Wrenches pricing. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and it was inspected. There were 16 issues they brought up, mostly just regular maintenance but not all. They quoted me just above $5,000. When I pressed them on how they do pricing, they said they "average all of the area prices and charge that amount". I called another shop someone recommended and brought in Honest Wrenches nifty inspection report (which was nice) to them and we decided to do 15 of the 16 items (all except Fuel Induction Service, around ~200) and paid under $2,500 for all parts and labor which includes warranty. This competitor has 50+ reviews and the same rating as Honest Wrenches. I assumed they were higher priced because they offer free pickup/drop off and spend tons on marketing and coupons, but wow - it's incredible when a place can charge almost double competitors and get away with it. If you like pickup/drop off service, a friendly marketing appearance, in-depth inspection reports and SKY HIGH PRICING, this place is for you. I don't doubt they do good work, just the insane pricing makes it hard to argue they are 'honest'. Service: General repairs & maintenance

I recently used Honest Wrenches based on a friends recommendation. Because this was my first experience with the shop I compared their charges with what my local dealer and found that their quote was equal to or less then what my dealer would have charged.
