Had my car break down on a real long road trip luckily I broke down close to these guys had my car towed here on a friday afternoon they were busy so they only really had time to inspect it and I had to borrow a car to continue my trip (luckily I have a friend in des Moines) come Monday Josh called and not only explained to me what was wrong with the car but why those problems are happening and what and why they do to fix it he took alot of time explaining every service in detail he said they would not be able to get me the car until Tuesday it I explained to him I was already on the way to try and pick it up (I was in Milwaukee for the weekend) and he rearranged some scheduling dues to my emergency circumstances and got me back on the road Monday afternoon these guys are very honest friendly and really enjoy giving the customer not only the best service but also educate you on why services are done and need to be done wish you guys where out in Phoenix because you would definitely be my new mechanics. Oh and they warranties my parts for 5 years 50000 miles and told me they would even honor that in Phoenix (wich I was not expecting so thanks again gentlemen you really mad a rough sad part of my life a little easier

Truck broke down on me and friend told me to take it to honest wrenches and they were very polite and even offered to take me home. Great customer service and communication skills. Sent pictures and videos of each thing that was going on with my truck so I could physically see it for myself. Absolutely great place and awesome people. I will be taking my truck back if I have any problems or need something done for now on!

I had the worst day ever when my tire blew on the side of the interstate and it needed to be towed. After getting my tire repaired elsewhere I knew my car needed some serious maintenance since I have been putting it off for awhile now. Being newish to the Des Moines area I didn’t know where to go, so I went to the spot closest to my work. My day immediately turned around after working with Josh G at Honest Wrenches. His customer service and knowledge on my vehicle exceeded expectations. I left my car in good hands and they even let me use a free courtesy car which helped a lot for my situation! They ran some tests on my car and sent me a link to their report. I have never seen something so detailed and informing from a shop. This link also shared the pictures of my car which made me at ease knowing they were not trying to pull a fast one and getting something repaired that did not need the service. My car was done the next day and it drove better than it ever has! My bill was very reasonable and under what they quoted. I highly recommend this shop to anyone in the area. I know I won’t be taking my car anywhere else besides Honest Wrenches. I know their name says it all, but they can back it up tremendously. I am so happy I came across this one stop shop.

Honest Wrenches is doing a project pickup for me. It is a 1987 Chevy shortbox. I am just getting started. They are helping me tremendously. I am great full for their direction.
